"Pop Music" Explores creative discovery by inviting non-musicians to create music through an unexpected medium: Bubbles. Each time a bubble is popped, a sound is produced.

To achieve this effect for viewers and participants, the artist performed each note live in-studio, just feet away from the camera. Nearly every sound heard in the film was played live, with only a few added in post-production. This approach fostered a unique connection between the artist and participants, briefly constructing a shared, alternate reality.

Showcased at the museum of fine arts, houston.

Selected for Aurora Picture Show's 28th Extremely Shorts Film Festival.
